CuteQix is a fun and adorable puzzle game based on the classic arcade game Qix. In CuteQix, you have to claim as much territory as possible by drawing lines and avoiding the enemies. But instead of just filling the screen with colors, you will uncover cute animal pictures as you play. The more you claim, the more animals you will see. Can you reveal them all? The first thing you need to do in CuteQix is to choose an Avatar from the 'Avatar Selection' screen. There are 4 options to choose from, and as you play, the other 8 will be unlocked. Which of the first 4 Avatars will you pick?

After choosing your Avatar, you can choose a level to play. CuteQix has many features, such as:

• More than 30 levels, each featuring a different cute animal
• 3 sub-levels for each level, with different pictures of the same animal
• You can unlock the levels by playing the game and beating levels

Which level will you try first?

How to play? 

• Move your character using the arrow keys or the WASD keys. Your character is a blinking green square that starts at the bottom of the screen. You can move along the border of the screen or into the unclaimed territory.
• Watch out for the enemies. There are two types of enemies that can harm you: the Sparx and the Qix. The Sparx are purple pulsing dots that patrol the border of the unclaimed territory. The Qix is a red pulsing shape that moves randomly inside the unclaimed territory. If either of them touches you or your line, you lose a life. If you lose all your lives, it is game over. But do not worry, even the "Game Over" screen is a cute surprise!
• Claim the territory by drawing lines. To draw a line, you have to press and hold the Space key while moving your character. You can draw a line in any direction, as long as it does not cross another line. To claim an area, you have to draw a line that connects to the border of the screen or to another line that you have drawn. The area that you claim will reveal a part of the animal picture that is hidden behind the screen and the Qix will be confined to a smaller space.
• Beat the level by claiming enough territory. Each sub-level has a different goal percentage that you have to reach. For example, level 1 has a goal of 60%, level 2 has a goal of 70%, and level 3 has a goal of 80%. You can see your progress on bottom of the screen. When you claim enough territory, you will beat the level and see the full animal picture.

Once you beat a level, you can view the image you've unlocked anytime, at the "Level Selection" screen, by clicking the "" icon:
